Thanksgiving is more than an American holiday. It ought to be the easiest of all American holidays for Christians to celebrate because we are called to live lives of thanksgiving. But how do you do that? How do you "give thanks in all circumstances" as Paul told the Thessalonians? It takes a minute-by-minute attitude of gratitude--one that notices blessings, expresses gratitude often, and makes the most of the blessings given.
