"Christ has set you free" is a short statement that carries so much power within it. Sin is slavery. The Old Law was slavery when compared to the freedom of the New Law of Christ. He has come to give us redemption from the burden of sin and the captivity in which it can hold us. And He gives a chance to become slaves of Himself, of which He says "My yoke is easy and my burden is light."
